This document provides a guide for students to follow to aid them in writing their Personal Statements for UCAS. Part 1: requires students to carry out some research about their course/courses they are applying for so they have some ideas of what they need to focus their statement around. Part 2: Prompt questions questions that will help build their personal statement. These prompts are based on what university admission officers are looking for in their future students. Recommended use: Students research the skills the course/ university is looking for . Make noes on where they have demonstrated these skills in their subjects as well as outside of their learning (in and out of school).
